Big houses with big rooms don’t do it for everyone. Some people prefer small apartments and there are a number of reasons why this style of living is popular. There is the price, of course, which will be cheaper than a house by far, but there is also the fact that you get a much cosier feel. Apartments can be quite trendy when decorated in a modern style, and there is less maintenance. A one-bedroom apartment may include 3 rooms, a bedroom, a kitchen/diner/living room and a bathroom, plus a balcony if you’re lucky. It’s not a lot of space to work with but that means you can clean it in no time and it is the perfect size if you do not have a lot of belongings. The only problem is it’s not usually great for entertaining and it’s always a bit tricky to have friends or family staying over.
