Your garage is an important feature of your home, however over time it accumulates a lot of items, some of which are of great value. If you have a garage door that opens ‘up and over’ you could consider adding a defender lock. This attaches to the bottom of your garage door and then also fixes onto a padlock concreted into the flooring, making the movement of the door restricted.
The locks, such as a T-shape lock are great as they key type, is a difficult one to replicate due to its cylinder-shape. A T-shape lock is recommended on metal doors only. If you’re not great with keys an alternative is a code locking system, the secure code controls the locking device so no need to rummage in your bag for the key.
Other types of regular locks, such as deadbolt lock or side door bolts are a popular choice of locking systems. Deadbolt locks are handy as they provide minimal amount of movement of the door without a key. Intruders do not like to work so hard to enter a home and give up easily. Side door bolts are great as they are fitted on the inside, making it invisible from the outside, also making it near on impossible to break.
